On October 17, 2025, RISR had the honor of welcoming Dr. Fuadi Pitsuwan, RIS Class of 2004, as part of our Alumni Speaker Series: Ad Astra & Beyond.
From the classrooms of Oxford, Harvard, and Georgetown to the coffee farms of northern Thailand, Dr. Fuadi shared his remarkable academic and professional journey. A scholar, educator, and social entrepreneur, he inspired our students with the message that education is not a final destination, but a lifelong pursuit of growth and purpose.
Drawing from his work with Beanspire Coffee and the Surin Pitsuwan Foundation, Dr. Fuadi emphasized that authentic leadership begins with empathy, and that thinking globally while acting locally can create meaningful, lasting change.
We are deeply proud to see our alumni making a positive impact around the world and even more grateful when they return to inspire the next generation of Phoenix learners.
